How to Dispose of Sewing Machine Needles and Pins
After emptying a prescription medicine bottle, remove the labels, stickers and wash it. Place bent and broken needles and pins in the bottle. After the bottle in filled, toss it in the trash and you do not have to worry about the needles and pins poking though the garbage bag.
Additional Advantage:
Most prescription medicine bottles have child safety caps. So by placing the needles and pins in the bottle, children and pets will not accidentally get hurt.
