Many crafters have a large collection of buttons, either those which have been collected frugally off of clothing or, if they are lucky enough, a collection of buttons that was given to them by mothers and grandmothers.
My grandmother had a huge button collection that I loved to sort through and play with as a child. Oh, how I wish I had that giant button collection today.
How do I display a button collection?
For those beautiful antique or unique buttons, it would be lovely to put them on display. A pretty bowl, a clear container or mason jar show off the button collection beautifully.
It is especially nice if the collection is put in something that allows others to touch and explore the buttons.
In a home decorated in the farmhouse or country style, a jar of buttons out on display fits right into the decor.
As a crafter, there are so many things that can be created with buttons!
If you, like me, were not gifted a giant collection of buttons, buttons of every color and size can be purchased at craft stores.
