Bubble Activities and Homemade Bubble Solutions

Have Fun With Bubbles!

Bubble activities and crafts bring the magic of bubbles into hands-on bubble projects that kids and adults can enjoy together. Using simple supplies like dish soap, water, food coloring, or bubble wrap, these ordinary materials can be transformed into colorful and creative masterpieces.

They’re perfect for classrooms, rainy days, or outdoor play; combining fun, science and creativity in one activity.

Some major advantages of bubble play are that it is a sensory activity that allows for engaging play with water and bubbles. It also improves fine motor skills by working with the wands to make the bubbles. Finally, it encourages imaginary play!

From bubble painting and bubble prints to bubble wrap stamping and even frozen bubble art, bubble crafts spark imagination while encouraging creativity.  Best of all, they are inexpensive, easy to set up, and guaranteed to bring smiles!

Bubble Activities

There are many ways to play and experiment with bubbles. Check out the ideas below:

  • Classic Bubble Blowing uses store-bought or a homemade bubble solution.
  • Giant Bubbles are made using big bubble wands or string loops.
  • Bubble Chase is when kids run after bubbles and pop them.
  • Bubble Inside a Bubble is made by gently blowing a bubble on a flat surface, then adding smaller ones inside.
  • Frozen Bubbles can be blown outside in freezing weather and watch them crystallize.
  • Bubble Tunnels and Domes can be made on a tray or table using straws.
