WHO CAN FINGER KNIT?

People of all ages can finger knit - ages 4 to 99 year olds.  Finger knitting is a fun activity for young children to improve their motor skills and is a great way to introduce knitting to children. After learning how to finger knit, It will be easier for a child to understand knitting with needles.

The bracelets can be made from many types of yarn, even bulky yarn and chunky yarn. Check out our tutorial for making t-shirt yarn out of old t-shirts, which can also be used.

Finger knitting is a great project for children on rainy days. All that is needed is colorful yarn. This is also an excellent group project for Scouts, 4-H, school class projects, and birthday parties.
