Some of the smaller angel patterns could be knitted up and tied to a Christmas package for a special decoration.
The lacy patterns of the knitted angel ornaments look so perfectly pretty with the back lighting of the Christmas tree lights behind them, making them glow and shine. They really are stunning.
And don’t miss the lovely standing angel with a long yellow yarn braid for hair. She would look stunning as a tree topper!
This angel body is knitted flat to begin with, and then a back seam is sewn to make a cone.
She is then placed over a card stock cone to add sturdiness for sitting atop the tree. After this, the head, arms, halo and wings are made.
She is by far my favorite of the free knitted Christmas angel patterns!
