Free Spring and Easter Knitting Patterns and Projects

Spring Is In the Air

It’s still cold here in the Northeast and as the wind is blowing and the sky is gray, but it is time to start thinking about spring and knitted Easter projects!

You’ll know warmer weather is on the way as you work on these cute and free spring knitting projects.

We have found you a wide range of both Easter and spring free knitting patterns that range from cute kids’ hats to Easter egg cozies and everything in between.

I saw the easy-to-knit hens that cover Easter eggs and had a memory jog taking me back to my childhood when my grandmother had very similar knitted hens on display each Easter season.

Looking over the free Easter knitting pattern, I saw that it was fairly easy to do for those with intermediate knitting experience.

If you want something a little different, we have a knitting project that’s a little spin on the hen egg covers; look for the bunnies that can be either stuffed or put over an egg!

There are several different patterns for knitted Easter eggs that you will just love!  These are adorable decorations and cuddly sweet Easter toys for the little ones.

Take a look at these free Easter egg knitting patterns and projects; the egg patterns are all unique, and you are sure to find an Easter egg pattern that calls to you!

Spring knitting projects and patterns are also popular, and we have several for you to take a look at.  The rainbow eggs in a texturized nest is a great spring project.

I was also drawn to the pattern of the two egg halves with a chick inside.  Children love to find a surprise treasure, and this little chick will be a fine treasure indeed!

Easter baskets and gift holders of all sizes abound, so if you’re looking for those, check out the links below.

Look for the sweet spring and Easter knitted accessories for your baby or toddler that will really stand out.

There are several hats, along with a unique cowl and a bunny cocoon with a matching hat, that would definitely call for a photo op! Take a peek at the pattern for adorable bunny slippers as well.

Your little ones would look so cute wearing these spring accessories!

Knitted toys are a fun addition to any child’s Easter basket.  We have several cute eggs, bunnies, finger puppets, and chick buddies you could whip up to slip into the basket.

My favorite knitted toy below is a beautiful bunny doll that will be a loved up and cuddled just right. She is much more on the side of pretty than cutsie.  As a child, I would have loved to have found one of these fancy knitted bunny dolls waiting for me on Easter morning.

There are many more free knitting projects and patterns for Easter below.  Time to hop to it!
