If you are not happy with the backside of your plastic canvas, cross stitch or perforated plastic project, you can make it prettier with felt.
Here are two methods for finishing a plastic canvas, counted cross stitch or perforated plastic project:
- Felt and Glue - Cut out a piece of felt slightly smaller than the project and attach the felt smoothly to the back of the project with a small amount of clear-drying craft glue.
- Presto Felt (Adhesive-backed felt) - Just cut out a piece of adhesive-backed felt slightly smaller than the project, peel of the paper backing and press firmly, the sticky side, to the project. To see where to purchase Presto felt, click here.
