What is finger knitting?
Finger knitting is a way of knitting without needles. It is sometimes called finger weaving. You can do finger knitting with one, two, three or four fingers depending on the project you want to make and how thick you want the finger knitted rope. Who can finger knit?
Finger knitting is for all ages - 4 to 99. Finger knitting is a fun activity for young children and is a great way to introduce knitting to children. It will be easier for a child to understand knitting with needles after mastering finger knitting.
Finger knitting is an excellent group project for Scouts, 4-H, school class projects and birthday parties. Need a rainy day activity? Stock up on yarn and let your kids be creative.
