Pattern Tip

Some sewing patterns contain different sizes on the same pattern piece. One way to reuse and preserve the pattern would be to trace it. But there is another method I use, especially when sewing children's clothes.

As the child grows and you want to make a larger size with the same pattern, try this quick and easy method.



Pattern Tip

Place pattern pieces on fabric and cut along lines for desired size.

Save the cut-off section of the pattern.

When you want to make the pattern in the larger size, just tape the pieces back together.
