I love looking at quilt designs, and I’m always finding great easy quilt patterns that I add to my list of quilts to make!  After you look at this page, your own list is sure to grow as well!

You are going to love the free quilt patterns that we’ve gathered for you. There is no need to purchase a pattern when there are so many free quilt patterns available!

When I began quilting, I stuck to precut fabrics such as jelly rolls, layer cakes, and charm packs. They do cost more than using yardage, but I didn’t have the confidence to choose fabrics that way.

My beginner “go-to” was making jelly roll quilts!  Every quilt ended up looking great!

Precuts are always coordinated and already cut in usable sizes, which makes putting together a lovely quilt so easy.  Many of the patterns below call for precuts, but you can always purchase your own yardage!

I just love buying and using jelly rolls; these precut, coordinating strips sew up easily into such pretty quilts.  It’s quite amazing that there is such a variety of quilt designs that you can make from a jelly roll!

The Braid Jelly Roll Quilt makes a 50” square lap quilt using just one jelly roll.  Follow the simple directions to sew up an easy complex-looking quilt design!

If you are looking for a jelly roll quilt pattern that will help you use up those scraps, try the Cinched Jelly Roll Quilt.  This pattern uses jelly roll precuts along with block accents to make a quilt that looks a bit more complex.

Free Baby Quilt Patterns

There are so many baby quilt patterns available, and quilters love to make them because they are quick, easy and oh-so-sweet.  We found some unique baby quilt patterns that any quilter will enjoy.

I think the Baby Cheater Quilt is one of the easiest quilts to sew and gives you a finished project that looks like it took you so much time and effort.

This baby quilt uses just one piece of fabric for the top; no sewing pieces of fabric together. 

Any fabric that has a grid to follow in order to quilt it can be used; think large striped fabric, buffalo plaids, or triangle fabric designs.

This easy quilt pattern is so nice to have on hand for a quick baby shower gift, and it also makes a perfect blanket for charity projects like the Comfort Cases that we like to donate to.

Our Baby Crib Quilt Pattern below is made using panels or fussy cut fabric for the blocks.  This free quilt pattern is done in a Peter Rabbit theme, but you can use any theme that you prefer. We have both a step-by-step photo tutorial and a video that are so easy to follow!
