CLEANING STAMPS

Baby Wipes make great stamp cleaners. Make sure to use Alcohol Free wipes (most are). Great for traveling too, baby wipes come in a handy dispenser package. Great for cleaning ink off hands as well. Frantic Stamper

EMBOSSING

Keep a small paintbrush or Q-Tip on hand when embossing to knock off any stubborn pieces of embossing powder that you don't want. Alysta Just Stamp It

EMBOSSING - RUBBER STAMPING

Handle paper by the edges as much as possible. Every finger or palm print thanks to the oil in your skin will grab the powder. To reduce static, rub a used dryer sheet or anti-static pouch over paper before making and impression & pouring powder. Stamp N Doodle

EMBOSSING POWDER

After sprinkling the powder over the image, dump off the excess powder onto a piece of scrap vellum if possible or regular paper that has a creased fold line. Tap the excess powder into the fold, then into the storage container or bag. Stamp N Doodle

GLUE TIP IN STAMPING

Rubber cement is a great glue to use in paper craft. Since it's not water-based, it won't warp your papers. In addition, acid-free rubber cement is now available. TealDragon Rubber Art Stamping Pages

GREETING CARD RECYCLING

RUBBER STAMPING

You can create wonderful soft background textures by crumpling up bumpy paper towels, plastic wrap, dish scourers, or any other neat textured item. Then dab it lightly in an ink pad and onto your paper. Crazy Stamps

Cut a 8.5" X 11" piece of no-slip mat (the kind you put in your drawers). Place it on your work area to place your stamp pads. It will hold the stamp pad in place so you do not have to hold onto the stamp pad. Coxes.com
