Assorted Halloween fabric or assorted scrap fabric
Rotary cutter with pinking blade
Acrylic ruler
Twine or cord
Binder clips

STEP 1: Cutting the Fabric
You will be cutting the fabric into 1” x 6” strips. An easy way to do this is to use a rotary cutter with a pinking blade. The pinking blade will help prevent the fabric from fraying and give it a decorative edge. NOTE: If kids will be helping with this project, you may want to cut the strips 7" long instead of 6". It will be easier for them to tie the overhand knot.
