NEEDED FOR PROJECT:
Knitting Needles - Size 10
Double-Pointed Knitting Needles - Size 5
HOW TO KNIT THE TREAT OR TREAT BAG
Using the #10 knitting needles, cast on 12 stitches.
Row 1: Knit
Row 2: Knit
Row 3: Knit
Row 4: Knit
Row 5: Purl
Continue knitting one row and purling the next row until piece measures 6”, ending with a purl row.
Knit the next 4 rows.
HOW TO MAKE THE BAG HANDLE - I-CORD
Using #5 double pointed needles cast on 3 stitches. Knit I-cord until it measures 7”.

HOW TO MAKE BAG EYES, NOSE AND MOUTH
From black felt, cut eyes, nose and mouth any size or shape you like.
HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE BAG
Knit the bag body piece.
Knit the I-cord.
Fold the bag in half and sew the sides together using the mattress stitch. Mattress Stitch Tutorial Here
Attach I-cord as a handle by sewing to each side of bag.
Cut out felt pieces for eyes, nose and mouth. Attach to bag using felt glue.
The Halloween bag is ready for your doll to use to go trick or treating.
